This is an example of the HTML that should immediately precede the navigation links to be skipped. The href parameter "#skipNav" is the location within the web page where the focus will be given after the links are skipped. The src parameter is the image which will generate the ability to skip the navigation links. The reason an image is used is because an alt parameter can provide alt text see Checkpoint (A).

Insert a "Skip To" Position

This is an example of the HTML which will serve as the anchor for the href parameter.  Place this tag where ever you wish focus to be given.

This is an example of a spacer image that is providing a link to the bookmark mentioned above.
